Today was our no break day, and we were able to get a lot of work completed here. We read most of lesson 4 in science after reviewing, and we will complete the lesson Friday. Review that vocabulary this weekend boys and girls. There will be a test Wednesday. In reading, I modeled our first story element chart as the class helped me fill it out with details from our story. We also listened to our story for one last time. In math we reviewed how to subtract with borrowing from 3-digit numbers, and then we introduced how to borrow across zero. Have them show you the trick. This afternoon we went over one more worksheet that helped us identify imperative and exclamatory sentences. A large portion of the class used their time really wisely and are not coming home with work to do, but work to be checked over.
