Hello sun!!! Oh how I missed you! The class read the rest of our first lesson in SS, and they had about 12 minutes to get started on their sheet. We got comfortable in the room as we read our story, and they really seemed to enjoy our hike descending into the Grand Canyon. Tomorrow we will keep reviewing that vocab and we will read about the different types of rocks. In reading workshop one group each day is paraphrasing our story, so that by Friday the class will have rewritten the story. In math I went over last nights math papers. It's frustrating to see that a large portion of the class had problems that we worked out on the board wrong. If I could clone myself and we could be sentries at each desk (ding, ding, ding,) than we would be in better shape. We talked a lot about focusing and putting in the necessary work to understand. They have a double and triple digit mult. sheet to practice.
