This week is almost over, can you believe it? We had our first Junior Achievement lesson today, and it ties in perfectly with our state project. Each child was asked to pick a state to create a business in, and a lot of them looked up their states information in their booklets. On Monday a detailed timeline will come home about the state projects, so please keep an eye out for it. The packets will come home Monday as well, and they will have to go back and forth between home and school daily. I will need your help with this. We have been talking about bullying a lot lately, and there is a yellow brochure coming home today about bullying and how to address the situation. They were asked to talk through the packet with you. We went over the pamphlet and made posters today. This is a NO BULLYING ZONE. Please sign the pamphlet/agenda saying that you went through the pamphlet with your student.

Homework:
Math: fix and return HR 144
Reading: PB 138 **they can print, but they need complete sentences
