Yesterday was our first BJC buddy classroom, and it went really well. The class will be working with the concepts of friendship and bullying. They were all given a coin, and another today, to distribute to others. The message of the coins is for all of us to make a change by being kind. When they see someone doing a caring act, they give them the coin and explain why they gave them the coin. The coin should never stay with one person, so the students are looking for people to do kind acts in and out of school. Thursdays are a lot of review, and we also read lesson 3 of our chapter. They have had a lot of class time to work today. About 80% of the class is completely finished with all work that will come home today. They are coming home with 4 papers, but they are only coming home to be checked and looked over by the parents. If your child is coming home with multiple sheets nightly to actually do, then their class time is being used for something else. (LMK please) BOY SCOUT MEETING TONIGHT
