Today was "Monday" so the class learned their robust and spelling words. We were able to complete lesson 2 in science and worked on 2 worksheets in class on the Elmo to help make the information more concrete. Today was the last lesson in grammar over compound sentences, run-ons, and comma splices. Tomorrow we will begin our lesson 8 grammar with prepositions. Children that come to our room for reading workshop have a station that works with prepositions to also help out with the concept. In the afternoon we did our quarterly assessment and our 3rd math test.
