Well, looks like I got half of what I wanted...snow...yay! Snow day, not so much, but it was well used. Obviously our schedule has been altered a little, but we are flexible. The kids know that we have to stick to our normal turn in dates, so I gave them 30 minutes to work on their robust in class. The review spelling packet was on their desk when they came in this morning. We created Holiday Thank you cards for the Rotary Club to show them how grateful we are for the dictionaries. This afternoon we will move desks and go over Investigation 5. The problem set 50 that they started on on Friday is due tomorrow. Some of them are completed with that...Woo Hoo. Most kids are done with robust and almost done with spelling. Way to be frog eaters class!!
Homework:
Math: PS 50
Spelling: packet due Thursday
Reading: Robust due Wednesday
**We could use a few more shoe boxes for the kids to make ocean dioramas in class as small groups. I'd like to have 3 to a group, so we would need about 6 more boxes. Thanks a ton! My kids' feet don't make for great box donations yet.
