Today went well. We worked more on our long division first thing this morning, and I think everyone has it but a couple. That is AWESOME! Some of the kids are asking about SS, but we will not return to it until after ISAT. During ISAT we will be working on a SS packet in the afternoons. That will be the last official SS grade for the quarter. We read our second story about body language for dogs and reviewed our story and vocabulary. The class really got pretty far in grammar yesterday, so we were able to apply and practice together today. My Reader Workshop is almost done with the first packet, and we will start into another when we are. Today was a new concept in math, so we took more time then usual. Portions of a whole; one fourth of 32 1/4 of 32 (32 divided by 4)

We have a talkative and spontaneous class, but they have truly got to work on getting themselves under control.
All bus riders have their name lists for valentines. I have told the class since October that they are allowed to make a Valentine's Day box, but it is optional. It can also be a bag, and we will vote on Monday.

Homework:
Math: PS 70 ER # 4
Spelling: Packet due
Grammar: GPB 70
