We had a lot to fit in today, but we got through it all. The class started our chapter review for SS, and we did it as a class. The new robust vocabulary was introduced and so was the new focus skill. We listened to our story, and then verbally filled in a story elements chart on the story. The spelling words and robust words should be in their agendas. In math it was review because we have worked with millimeters in science. They were given 45 min. this A.M. to get the robust completed and math started or vise versa, and about 15 min. this P.M. After lunch and reading workshop, I had to teach our normal Tuesday grammar lesson. Then we ended our day with giving out the Reading Minute rewards. It was the first time ever that we had a tie for first place. Both Kyle and Abbie read for 930 min.!! Way 2 Go!!
