Wow.....this week is like a replica of last week...LONG :)
We have almost completed lesson 2 in SS, and there will be a worksheet over lesson 2 tomorrow night. Today I had the kids go back and do 4 of the review questions from lesson 1. I am insisting that they work more independently, and I am asking that you do the same at home. I keep telling them that they are completely capable to get the work done, and that I would never give them something that we haven't gone over. I am preparing them not only for fifth grade, but for the rest of their scholastic career. I told them that I expect them to be independent.....and it was rough for a few of them. I do want you to check over their work, and I thank you for that.
