Yes the rumors are true.  : )  Our class was chosen to receive ipod touches for each student.  I didn't want to tell the class about them until they were here, and well.....they are here.  We will primarily be using them to increase math and language arts skills through selected apps.  They will not go home, and a letter will be coming home from the district about them.  Also you and your child will need to sign a safety and usage agreement.  Today we actually stayed on schedule again....GO us!!  We have completed 2 of the 3 lessons in science, and they have their first independent worksheet to do tonight.  We were able to do grammar, math , review our robust vocabulary, and read our new story.  The kids will need to read the story at least one more time independently before I'll expect them to take the AR test.
