What a Friday...   :)  We were able to take our reading and spelling tests.  The kids rearranged their desks into our new seating arrangement, which puts them into groups.  During math time we used our math manipulatives to break down our numbers and rename them.  For example: 5200 = 520 tens.  We'll keep working on that concept next week as well.  The students were able to color a Fred Bird picture that we then used for our simile and metaphor activity.  It was a great day!  Please look for the Friday folder and letter.  Robust and 2 math sheets I did not get to yet, so they will come home next week.  I also noticed that I forgot to file last week's reading tests.  I am about to put up the grades into the system, so wish me luck.  :)
